Anne Beck's Salted Chocolate Covered Caramels

1 package (14oz) caramels unwrapped
1 package semi sweet chocolate chips melted
1 T sea salt
toothpicks

Insert toothpick into caramel, dip in chocolate, turning until completely coated; shake gently to remove excess chocolate, place on waxed paper covered cookie sheet remove toothpick repeat with all caramels sprinkle with salt and let sit at room temperature until chocolate is firm.
