Jack Finkelstein, a seventh grader at Howard Middle School, filled the Northwoods Academy lobby with nearly two truckloads of toys.
He started the collection as part of his bar mitzvah project, and decided to give all of the donations to his former preschool.
Northwoods Academy works with children like Finkelstein, who needed a little extra help because of a learning disability.
Finkelstein says the school helped him for three years, and this is his way of giving back.
He says, "They don't have a budget for toys. So, it's either they buy them, or donations, or none at all."
He hopes the children will use the new toys to learn about sharing and having fun.
