A Macon man faces an involuntary manslaughter charge after allegedly injuring another homeless man who later died.
A Macon police news release says witnesses reported that 51-year-old Terry Cason threw Charles Skipper from a loading dock last Thursday at the abandoned warehouse where they both lived.
Skipper, who was 68, died the next day.
An autopsy says Skipper died from internal bleeding caused by a ruptured spleen.
Police say the two men and several others lived at the warehouse at Mulberry and Sixth Street.
An incident report says Cason initially told police that he'd seen Skipper alive last Friday morning, "covered in his own feces." He said Skipper apparently fell on the concrete floor and Cason dragged him to his bed.
Skipper was pronounced dead at around noon Friday.
Cason was arrested Tuesday; he is being held in the Bibb County jail on $7,900 bond.
