Macon Police Seek Suspect in 2011 Homicide

Macon police are looking for a teenager facing a murder charge in a 15-month-old shooting.

A police news news release says Akoybeyan D. Howard is one of two suspects in the July 2011 murder of Alfred Smith.

Smith was shot to death in the crowded parking lot outside Wings Cafe on Bloomfield Drive.

Police say a second suspect, 30-year-old Martin Kendall, is already in the Bibb County jail on unrelated charges.

Others may face charges in the case, police say.
