Police say they have made an arrest in an armed robbery that happened at a cemetery near Eisenhower Parkway in Macon last Saturday night.

According to the Macon Police news release, Brandon Moore, 22, has been charged with armed robbery in the case.

The victim told police he was visiting a friend at the Riverwalk Apartments on Riverside Drive when he was asked for a ride by a man and a woman. He agreed and began driving them across town.

Investigators say one of the passengers told the victim to pull into a cemetery near Eisenhower Parkway and Second Street and then pulled a knife on him.

When the victim tried to leave, the man hit him in the head. The driver managed to get out of his pickup and the couple drove away in the truck.

Police say the victim ran to a nearby store where he met with the officers who then helped recover his truck at Knott Street near Grants Chappel Alley.
