Thank you for joining us.

A woman died in Macon today after she lost control of her car on Hartley Bridge road early this morning.
Bibb sheriff's fatality investigators say twenty-five year old Erika Bartholomeu was driving south on lower hartley bridge road when her black 2009 b-m-w left the roadway near a curve at the 5000th block and struck an object.
Bartholomeu died of her injuries at a local hospital.
Officials are waiting for the results from a toxicology report.

A few military families at Robins Air Force Base will get a chance to spend their summer days on the beach.
Jaime Allison. mother of three, received a summer season pass. Allison's husband is a deployed airman at Robins Air Force Base. As a way of thanking military families for their service ... The Macon-bibb chamber of commerce teamed up with Lake Tobosofkee to give away 100 summer passes.
Jamie Allison/ Warner Robins: "i've made it a point to find all kinds of things to do. this was just a great opportunity for the kids to get out, play together, spend some time, me and the kids while he's gone."
Passes will first be distributed to airmen deployed within the year... Then to airmen stationed at the base.

This weekend is almost over... But if you're planning next weekend... You might want to make it out to Monticello.
The american legion post 110 will be hosting a veterans appreciation day and parade in the city's square... Next saturday... June 15th.
And They're inviting all the world war two veterans in the area to be a part of the parade... And ride on the post's float.
They want to honor all our veterans past and present.
The parade is scheduled for noon.

The Richmond County sheriff's office is under scrutiny tonight because of a service fee... That state officials say goes into an unaudited bank account.
The Augusta Chronicle reports the sheriff's office has collected hundreds of thousands of dollars from 25 dollar fees charged to funeral homes when on-duty deputies escort funeral processions in the county.
That money was used for sponsoring golf and little league tournaments... As well as funding a staff christmas party.
The newspaper says the fee... Although in place since the 70's was never approved by the county commission.
The newly-elected sheriff says they plan to stop taking checks from funeral homes and... establish a nonprofit for donations.

A cobb county home, owned by former Atlanta Braves player Otis Nixon, was set on fire by a neighbor overnight.
It happened in the 400-block of bass way in Acworth.
It took firefighters more than two hours to gain control of the fire.
The neighbor, 34 year old Lamine Diaw is being held without bond and facing arson charges.

A shooting rampage in Santa Monica, California left five people dead. Police are trying to piece together clues as to what led the 23- year-old gunman to kill his father and brother and then start firing at strangers.
CNN's Kyung lah has more.
THE ARMED GUNMAN... DEAD AT THE END OF HIS RAMPAGE...
23 YEAR OLD JOHN ZAWAHRI HAD ONE INTENT, SAY POLICE.
He was heavily armed and ready for battle.
POLICE DISPLAYED HIS JAW-DROPPING ARSENAL...
IN THE BLACK BAG THE GUNMAN CARRIED... THE UPPER RECEIVER TO A 223 SEMI AUTOMATIC RIFLE... A 44-CALIBRE HANDGUN... AND HUNDREDS OF ROUNDS... LOADED INTO TWO DOZEN MAGAZINE CLIPS.
HE HAD AN ADDITIONAL 13-HUNDRED ROUNDS HE COULD HAVE FIRED.
THIS... IS JUST SOME OF HIS WEAPONRY.
POLICE ALSO SHOWED PICTURES OF ADDITIONAL MAGAZINES... AND THE GUNMAN DRESSED IN ALL BLACK, WEARING KNEE PADS AND A VEST... WHERE YOU SEE HIM CARRYING THE 223 SEMI AUTOMATIC RIFLE HE USED IN THE BLOODY RAMPAGE ACROSS THIS NORMALLY IDYLLIC BEACH TOWN.
Any time someone puts on a vest, grabs semi auto rifle and pistol, hundreds of rounds, burns down a house, shoots people at mult locations, I would say that is premeditated.
BUT WHY... POLICE SAY IN 2006... THEY WERE CALLED TO ZAWAHRI'S HOUSE... THE ONE HE SET ON FIRE... HIS FATHER AND BROTHER, FOUND DEAD INSIDE.
IN 2006, ZAWAHRI WAS A JUVENILE... SO POLICE WOULD NOT ELABORATE.
POLICE DON'T KNOW WHY HE CHOSE TO SHOOT HIS WAY TO SANTA MONICA COLLEGE...
BUT OFFICERS SAY ZAWAHRI WAS A STUDENT AT THE COMMUNITY COLLEGE IN 2010.
LIKELY FAMILIAR WITH THE LIBRARY... WHERE POLICE SAY STUDENTS HID IN A SAFE ROOM... MIRACULOUSLY DODGING BULLETS THE GUNMAN FIRED THROUGH THE WALLS.
POLICE SAY ZAWAHRI PROBABLY DIDN'T KNOW ANY OF HIS VICTIMS OUTSIDE OF HIS RELATIVES, CHOOSING PEOPLE AT RANDOM.
VICTIMS LIKE THE FATHER AND DAUGHTER INSIDE THIS RED S-U-V...BOTH SHOT AND KILLED.
CARLOS NAVARRO FRANCO WAS A GROUNDSKEEPER AT SANTA MONICA COLLEGE.
HE WAS DRIVING HIS DAUGHTER, MARCELA, A STUDENT AT THE COLLEGE, TO PICK UP TEXT BOOKS WHEN THEY CAME ACROSS THE GUNMAN.
Why it happened to them... to go out and just shoot randomly at other people... that you don't know or have any contact with... I just don't understand why a person would do that.
Zawahri had suffered from mental health issues in the past. That's according to a law enforcement source with knowledge of the investigation.
Authorities say they haven't found any link to domestic or international terrorism.

Edward Snowden again: "I'm just another guy who sits there in the office watches what's happening and goes, this is not our place to decide. The public needs to decide whether these policies are right or wrong and I'm willing to go on the record to defend the authenticity of them."
A spokesman for the Director of National intelligence issued a statement acknowledging the Guardian report, but declined any further comment... because the matter has been referred to the Justice Department.
Last week, President Obama said NSA programs that examine phone and internet records...only look at what's called meta data and do not target individual Americans without a court order.
President Obama: "NOBODY IS LISTENING TO YOUR TELEPHONE CALLS. THAT IS NOT WHAT THIS PROGRAM IS ABOUT."
CBS News National Security Analyst Juan Zarate believes Snowden may be overstating what he had access to.
Juan Zarate CBS News/National Security Analyst: "BUT THERE IS NO QUESTION GOVERNMENT PRORAMS HAVE ACCESS TO LOTS OF INFORMATION AND THESE LEAKS HAVE REVEALED WHAT THEY HAVE ACCESS TO."
Snowden says he knows these disclosures have put him at risk. He is now reportedly in Hong Kong.
