Two shootings at Freedom Park left two teenagers injured.
Macon police say they incidents may be related.
Judy Le has more.
Brinceson Sanders has lived in the neighborhood next to Freedom Park for ten years. He says the sound of gunfire is a common occurrence and is heard as recent as Saturday.
Brinceson Sanders: "I come out the house and look and the police was parked out there where it's roped off."
Around 2 p.m, a teenage boy was shot in the arm near the basketball courts. He was taken to the Medical center and released. An hour later, a teenage girl was shot on Morgan Drive in what police describe as a drive-by shooting.
"A little gang of boys was walking back and forth up here. I don't know if they had anything to do with it or not."
The girl suffered a bruise instead of a bullet wound. With crime happening about 500 feet from home. Sanders worries about the safety of his own teenage daughters.
"It used to be a good neighborhood until lately. Then you've got to worry about kids hanging around here with their pants hanging down, having to hold them up as they walk. That's really a big issue."
Macon police are looking for a gold Honda Accord that was seen at both places when the shots were fired.

Yesterday we brought you a story from inside Macon-Bibb's Animal Shelter.
We told you twelve dogs needed homes or they'll be euthanized Tuesday.
Well one woman who's roots lie in Central Georgia but now lives in Acworth says she'll pay the adoption fees if someone will give those animals a home.
Anna Bowman: "To them you are all they have they are completely innocent... Well in my eyes they are they are helpless they cannot help themselves they're totally dependent on you so I have a responsibility to take care of someone or something that's not able to care for themselves it's a complete joy and blessing."
If you want to rescue one or more of the twelve dogs we showed you yesterday. You can email Anna Bowman at A-C-M-L-E 6-8-6-7 at gmail.com.
Remember come Tuesday these dogs will be put down if they're not adopted.

Central Georgia brides got a jump start on planning at the 10th annual Macon Wedding Ring Bridal Show.
For ten dollars each bride could browse the twenty vendor booths set up at The Blacksmith Shop in Downtown Macon
From catering to dj services, free food and prizes were handed out.
And a couple could even enter to win a mini Ipad.
Terrence Murphy: "I've never been married before so me just proposing to her was a really big deal to me and now that we're getting more indepth of our engagement and getting ready for the wedding it's very overwhelming and i didn't know it takes this much but being at the bridal show it definitely is eye opening and lets me put things into perspective it's very different for me."
Those two have set their big day for September twenty-first.
