A park that touched a community back in the 1960's had a reunion today for the people who used to come to the park.
Ragan Park used to be an amusement park when it first opened in 1913 by Bill Ragan with a concession stand, bumper cars, train rides, a lake, skating rink and much more.
Over the past years the park has exchanged hands and gone through different owners.
The park now has been renovated and opened up for the public to enjoy.
Many people in the community came out for the reunion of the park to share in the memories that meant so much to them.
<it doesn't look like it did at that time but it's make you feel good to let me know that someone taken enough interest to remodel and try to get people out here and It's great and I think It will be good for Macon>
