Nathan Jordan, Public Works Director: We recently had a well evaluation and one of the things that we found out that well number one which was drilled in 1947 is, uh, has problems with the screens in the well and right now because it does not pump efficiently we have it shut down.
Nathan Jordan, Public Works Director: Because of the fire protection, to have enough reserve in case of an emergency or whatever we really need four wells
Nathan Jordan, Public Works Director: They would not see an increase, not in the near future.
Nathan Jordan, Public Works Director:It'll affect fire protection and your supply of water in case if any kind of emergency and possibly have a problem with one of the wells that's runnign.
Eddie Daniels, Mayor of Vienna: With this new well, this new project we can employ more people, more businesses, more potential businesses here in this area.
Eddie Daniels, Mayor of Vienna: With the economy the way it we have been coping very well but with the new well we can see our water increase, our pressure increase it has been down for a while the citizens may not have noticed but we as city leaders recognized the problem it is a problem.
Eddie Daniels, Mayor of Vienna: It's gonna be an essential good day for, it'll be some pressure, just like off of the well they'll be pressure off of us.
THE CITY WILL PAY NO INTEREST ON THE LOAN WHILE THE WELL IS BUILT... AND ONCE IT'S DONE... THEY'LL PAY 1 PERCENT INTEREST.

Certainly when I came in people were expressing their discontent with some of the things that passed this week in Washington and that's one of the things that makes America great.
