DIXSON SAID AT THE TIME...HE KNEW SOMETHING WASN'T RIGHT AT THE STORE.
Michael Dixson, Macon, Manager at SJ Foods: 01:08 So they asked me if I could give them a description and I said I couldn't give them a description because I didn't really have anything to go on other than to call them and I kept telling them there's a robbery in progress, I don't know exactly why they haven't called you yet, but I assume somebody got hurt.
Michael Dixson, Macon, Manager at SJ Foods: 02:08 I wanted to hear sirens right away, I guess that was kinda of impossible, I wanted to make sure that nothing more serious could have happened.
ACCORDING TO THE POLICE REPORT...THE MAN WHO SHOT ASHISHKUMAR PATEL WAS WEARING A GREY HOOD AND A GLOVE.
DIXSON SAYS WHEN ROBBERIES LIKE THIS HAPPEN...IT MAKES HIM THINK OF HIS STORE'S OWN SECURITY.
Michael Dixson, Macon, Manager at SJ Foods:When it happened over there, I imediately closed my little bullet proof glass and everything that's all basically you can do.

Michael Dixson, Macon, Manager at SJ Foods: Sometimes when robbers come in their main intention is to get money and for the clerks and the managers and the owners cooperate as much as possible, because not only their safety is involved, their customers, their safety as well.
