BRANTELY FACES CHARGES ON 109 COUNTS OF DISTRIBUTING COCAINE.. AND 27 COUNTS OF DISTRUBUTING METHAMPHETAMINE.. AMONG OTHERS.

ACCORDING TO THE RELEASE... AGENTS FORMED THE TEAM AFTER INVESTIGATORS GOT INFORMATION ABOUT A DRUG TRAFFICING AND DISTRIBUTION RING IN FORSYTH AND MONROE COUNTY.

BIG CHANGES COULD BE ON THE WAY FOR THE POSTAL SERVICE SYSTEM.
IF PASSED SENATE BILL 17-89 WOULD PHASE OUT ACTUAL DOOR-TO-DOOR MAIL DELIVERY.
WITHIN SEVERAL YEARS... MOST PEOPLE WOULD HAVE TO PICK UP THEIR MAIL FROM A MAILBOX AT THE CURB OR AT A CENTRAL DELIVERY SPOT IN THEIR NEIGHBORHOOD.

THE BILL WOULD ALSO REQUIRE THE POSTAL SERVICE TO HOLD OFF ANY PLANS OF ELIMINATING SATURDAY MAIL FOR AT LEAST TWO YEARS.
THE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF LETTER CARRIERS STATE PRESIDENT...DON GRIGGS...SAYS 80-THOUSAND JOBS ARE ON THE LINE NATIONWIDE.
