GOOD EVENING AND THANKS FOR JOINING US..
I'M FRANK MALLOY..
AND I'M LEAH JOHNSON..THIS IS EYEWITNESS NEWS AT 11.

A LINE CONTINUES TO FORM TONIGHT IN FRONT OF AN EAST MACON CHURCH.....
WITH PEOPLE CAMPING OUT OVERNIGHT IN HOPES OF GETTING HELP WITH THEIR HEATING BILLS.
"I got this bag and its got all my stuff in there. Got phone chargers and everything and this bag is my food bag."
EMMA LUE HARRIS IS ONE OF MANY PEOPLE WHO CAME PREPARED TO SIT FOR HOURS IN THE PARKING LOT OF ST. PAUL A.M.E. CHURCH ON SHURLING DRIVE EARLY MONDAY.
THE MACON-BIBB E-O-C WILL START TAKING APPLICATIONS FOR ITS FEDERALLY FUNDED ENERGY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM TOMORROW MORNING AT SEVEN.
THEY'LL TAKE APPLICATIONS FROM THE FIRST 250 PEOPLE IN LINE.
WE SPOKE WITH A FEW PEOPLE IN LINE WHO SAY THEY'RE THANKFUL ABOUT HAVING THE OPPORTUNITY TO GET HELP.
Emma Lue Flowers:
" I know people that need it, so do I. But sacrificing the time to get the bill paid, the need you know to take care of it, you do what you gotta do. Whatever it takes."
Diane Harris:
"I have asthma and I don't have but a fixed income which I get social security and i don't have enough income to pay the bill like I'm supposed to, so that's why I'm here."
THE E-O-C WILL TAKE APPLICATIONS OVER SIX DATES AT THREE LOCATIONS.
AGAIN... THEY'LL START TOMORROW AND WENESDAY...JANUARY 10TH AND 11TH... AT SAINT PAUL A-M-E CHURCH AT 25-01 SHURLING DRIVE.
THEN ON JANUARY 18TH AND 20TH... THEY MOVE TO UNION BAPTIST CHURCH AT 11-37 KITCHENS STREET.
THE LAST DATES ARE JANUARY 24TH AND 25TH... AT UNIONVILLE BAPTIST CHURCH AT 38-37 HOUSTON AVENUE.

THE BIBB COUNTY SCHOOL BOARD WENT TO WORK TONIGHT DRAWING UP NEW BOUNDARIES FOR THE SCHOOL SYSTEM'S SIX DISTRICTS..
BOARD MEMBERS UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED A NEW MAP DIVIDING THE SIX DISTRICTS.
IT'S PART OF A REAPPORTIONMENT PROCESS THAT THE BOARD HAS TO GO THROUGH AFTER EACH CENSUS TO MAKE SURE EACH DISTRICT HAS ROUGHLY THE SAME AMOUNT OF PEOPLE.
THE PROCESS DOESN'T AFFECT SCHOOL ZONES WHICH DICTATE WHICH SCHOOL A STUDENT WILL ATTEND.
BOARD PRESIDENT TOMMY BARNES SAYS SOME PEOPLE MAY NOW VOTE IN A DIFFERENT DISTRICT DUE TO NEW BOUNDARIES BUT BOARD MEMBERS HAVE THE BEST INTEREST OF ALL STUDENTS AT HEART.
"What we try to do as a board is altthough you represent a particular district, we feel as though its our job to represent the whole district, whether that school is in your particular electoral district or not. So you may be votign for a different board member, but hopefully he or she will give you the same representation you've gotten in the past."
FOR A LOOK AT THE NEW MAP JUST FIND THIS STORY AT 13WMAZ DOT COM.

"I have no doubt that Mitt Romney was worried about pink slips... Having enough to hand out."

Rick Santorum is looking for another strong second-place finish.. but Ron Paul is Romney's closest competitor, thanks to his New Hampshire-friendly campaign stressing personal liberties.

{SOT - Ron Paul/R-Presidential Candidate 56-103}

I think there's been a lot of pressure on them over the past two years, and now this year with two SEC teams playing in the national championship, I think people are getting disheartened with how the BCS is doing things.
ANY CHANGES MADE TO THE B-C-S SYSTEM WON'T START UNTIL THE 2014 SEASON.

SO THIS YEAR... THEY WANT THE GENEREAL ASSEMBLY TO MAKE THEIR POSITIONS NON-PARTISAN.
STATE REPRESENTATIVE NIKKI RANDALL DOESN'T LIKE THE PROPOSAL.. EVEN THOUGH HER FATHER BILLY RANDALL.. BIBB'S MAGISTRATE AND CIVIL COURT JUDGE.. SUPPORTS IT
Nikki Randall, State Representative: I never support non-partisan elections. I just believe that when you choose a party you should carry the banner of that party because you are basic philisophically beliefs are in line with that party.
