TWO 17-YEAR-OLDS WERE ARRESTED AFTER A FIGHT AT WARNER ROBINS HIGH SCHOOL TONIGHT... AND POLICE TASED ONE OF THEM.
THAT'S ACCORDING TO WARNER ROBINS POLICE SPOKESWOMAN TABITHA PUGH.
SHE SAYS THE FIGHT BROKE OUT INSIDE THE GYM AFTER THE GAME BETWEEN THE WARNER ROBINS DEMONS AND NORTHSIDE EAGLES.
PUGH SAYS SEVERAL WARNER ROBINS POLICE OFFICERS RESPONDED TO THE FIGHT.
SHE SAYS THAT'S STANDARD POLICY WHEN A LARGE CROWD IS INVOLVED.
ACCORDING TO PUGH....NO INJURIES WERE REPORTED.
BOTH TEENS ARE BEING BOOKED INTO THE HOUSTON COUNTY JAIL.

A CENTRAL GEORGIA POLICE CHIEF FACES CHARGES TONIGHT... FOR ALLEGEDLY TRYING TO BUY AND SELL PRESCRIPTION DRUGS.

Rhine police chief kip herman cravey faces one count of distributing the narcotic soma... a muscle relaxer pill..and one count of criminal attempt to purchase roxicodone...which is a painkiller.
Rhine mayor...Carter Clements...who's a pharmacist... says he was shocked .
Mayor: "we've always had a lot of confidence in Kip in his police abilities he's done us a good job."
Captain tony winborn says Cravey was the only member of the Rhine police department. He says Cravey worked for the last Dodge County sheriff...lawton douglas....in the narcotics unit.
Captain tony winborn: " he's worked in this county for many years and some of the folks that are in jail of course he's had a hand at putting or what you do no one is above the law."
Winborn declined to comment further on the investigation because he says it's still ongoing and more charges could be filed. In Rhine Jennifer moulliet 13 Wmaz eyewitness news.

WARNER ROBINS' MUSEUM OF AVIATION PLANS FOR VOLUNTEERS AND PRIVATE DONATIONS TO MAKE-UP FOR BUDGET CUTS AND JOB LOSSES.
THE MUSEUM IS OPERATING WITH EIGHT FEWER EMPLOYEES COMPARED WITH LAST YEAR... AND A FRACTION OF THE GOVERNMENT FUNDING.
DIRECTOR KEN EMERY SAYS THE JOB CUTS WERE PART OF THE DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE SPENDING PLAN... ANNOUNCED IN NOVEMBER.
MUSEUM FOUNDATION PRESIDENT... PAT BARTNESS SAYS THE STATE AND FEDERAL GOVERNMENT ALSO ELIMINATED THEIR FUNDING TO THE MUSEUM DURING THE PAST TWO YEARS.
TO COMPENSATE... BARTNESS SAYS HE'S LOOKING FOR MORE CORPORATE SPONSORS FOR PROGRAMS... AND ASKING FOR DONATIONS FROM SOURCES OUTSIDE CENTRAL GEORGIA.
EMERY SAYS PEOPLE CAN HELP BY VOLUNTEERING.

FOLKS HEADING NORTH ON I-75 IN BIBB COUNTY TOMORROW... MAY RUN INTO SOME DELAYS.
THAT'S BECAUSE THE STATE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION SAYS CREWS WILL CLOSE A NORTHBOUND LANE OF THE INTERSTATE NEAR PIERCE AVENUE... AND THE NORTHBOUND PIERCE AVENUE EXIT RAMP.
THAT BEGINS AT 6 A-M TOMORROW... AND LASTS THROUGH 8 O'CLOCK TOMORROW NIGHT.
THE D-O-T SAYS DRIVERS WHO NEED TO GET TO THE PIERCE AVENUE AREA... WILL BE DIRECTED TO THE EXIT AT RIVERSIDE DRIVE AND ARKWRIGHT ROAD.

THE FORMER STATE TROOPER INVOLVED IN A CRASH THAT KILLED THE WIFE OF ATLANTA BRAVES TRAINER JEFF PORTER SAYS HE'S COOPERATING WITH INVESTIGATORS... AND PRAYING FOR THE FAMILY.
TROOPER DONALD CROZIER WAS TERMINATED TODAY.
KATHY PORTER WAS KILLED IN THE CRASH ON NEW YEAR'S EVE.
HER HUSBAND AND TWO OTHERS WERE INJURED.
AN ACCIDENT REPORT RELEASED TODAY SAYS THE TROOPER'S VEHICLE HAD ALL ITS EMERGENCY EQUIPMENT ACTIVATED AND RAN A RED LIGHT WHILE RESPONDING TO HELP ANOTHER TROOPER... INVOLVED IN A CHASE.
THE REPORT SAID THE TROOPER QUOTE "FAILED TO USE DUE REGARD WHEN TRAVELING THROUGH THE INTERSECTION."
MCDONOUGH SAID THE INVESTIGATION CONTINUES.
