A PILE OF GARBAGE BAGS MAY NOT LOOK MUCH LIKE SANTA'S SLEIGH... BUT IT'S WHAT'S INSIDE THAT WILL FILL A CHILD'S CHRISTMAS MORNING WITH MEMORIES.
Nat sound --
JULIE ADAIR IS A SPECIAL SEASONAL ELF.
SHE AND THE MACON RESCUE MISSION STAFF PLAN TO HELP 300 FAMILIES THIS YEAR.... FOLKS THAT HAVE THIER BACKS AGAINST A WALL... WITH NOTHING UNDER THE TREE.
Julie Adair, Macon Rescue Mission  I know families are getting hit hard because we have an upswing in everything in needs.  Money is going to play electric bills, the water bills, the rent, whatever that is where the money is going.  We do not want a child to go without this Christmas.
THIS STASH WILL HELP FORTY FAMILIES OR SO... ADAIR SAYS ON AVERAGE EACH FAMILY HAS THREE KIDS... AND THEY WANT TO GIVE EVERY CHILD A FEW THINGS TO OPEN.
Julie Adair  Multiple toys just means the children are important if a child only gets one toy yes they should be excited and they probably will be excited but to get multiple toys means somebody cares about them.
Nat sound This is great too the games anything that is educational Monopoly and Scrabble.  And Moms like it because it helps them with their reading helps them with thier math.
Books would be fantastic anything that is four years up to 11 years that would be fantastic.
Division cards spelling cards anything that's educational like that.  See if we have these we will give two to a family educational cards.
We give out footballs basketballs fabulous.
Wouldn't you want to wake up Christmas morning and have a huge truck like that... all of this for the little ones how sweet is this?
Nat sound -- unlocking
IN ORDER TO HELP EVERYONE ... THIS GIANT STORAGE BIN NOW SITS IN THE MACON RESCUE PARKING LOT.
