    THE FIRING COMES AFTER A THRID ACCUSER CAME FORWARD WITH ASSUALT ALLEGATIONS AGAINST THE 65-YEAR-OLD....

    HE HAS CALLED THE ALLEGATIONS FALSE...

    FINE HAD THE LONGEST ACTIVE STREAK OF CONSECUTIVE SEASONS AT ONE SCHOOL... AMONG ASSISTANT COACHES IN DIVISION ONE.

    BACK IN CENTRAL GEORGIA... TODAY MARKED THE FIRST TIME PEOPLE COULD BUY ALCOHOL ON A SUNDAY... IN CENTERVILLE, PERRY AND WARNER ROBINS....

"We might lose some of our after church crowd where they used to come in and eat with us, they might decide to go to another restaurant that doesn't sell alcohol."
    BUT HE HOPES SEPARATE DINGING ROOMS AND NOT SELLING ALCOHOL UNTIL THE AFTERNOON WILL HELP KEEP BOTH CROWDS HAPPY.

    MACON POLICE SAY A MAN WAS SHOT FRIDAY NIGHT... WHILE WALKING FROM A CONVIENCE STORE....
    SPOKEWOMAN JAMI GAUDET SAYS... IT HAPPENED AROUND 11-30 FRIDAY NIGHT....

    SHE SAYS THE VICTIM WAS WALKING FROM FAMILY FOOD ON MONTPELIER AVENUE...  WHEN HE HEARD GUNFIRE.... THAT'S WHEN HE RAN ACROSS THE STREET TOWARD A FRIENDS HOUSE...
    ONCE HE GOT THERE... HE DISCOVERED HE'D BEEN SHOT IN HIS RIGHT LEG...

    GAUDET SAYS HE WAS TAKEN TO THE MEDICAL CENTER OF CENTRAL GEORIGA FOR TREATMENT....
     THE VICTIM PROVIDED LITTLE INFORMATION AND GAVE CONFLICTING STORIES ABOUT THE SITUATION ... ACCORDING TO POLICE...
     THEY SAY THERE ARE NO SUSPECTS AT THIS TIME...

    ALSO... MACON POLCIE SAY A MAN TRIED TO ROB A DOWNTOWN BANK FRIDAY AFTERNOON..
    AROUND 2:30... AN UNARMED MAN WENT IN TO

    STATE BANK ON WALNUT STREET... HE HANDED THE TELLER A NOTE DEMANDING MONEY... ACCORDING TO SPOKESWOMAN JAMI GAUDET...
    SHE SAYS WHILE HE WAS IN THE BANK A CUSTOMER APPROACHED HIM... AND THEN HE RAN AWAY.. WITHOUT GETTING ANY MONEY...

    THE SUSPECT IS DESCRIBED AS A BLACK MAN... IN HIS LATE 20'S TO EARLY 30'S... HE WEIGHS BETWEEN 145 AND 165 POUNDS..    
    POLCIE SAY THE MAN WAS LAST SEEN WEARING A BLACK JACKET.. .KHAKI PANTS.. AND BLACK TENNIS SHOES..

    AS OFFICERS ARRIVED... THEY FOUND THE SUSPECT WHO WAS ACTING NERVOUS..
    POLICE THEN TOLD HIM TO TAKE HIS HANDS OUT OF HIS POCKETS... AND WHEN HE DID A GUN FELL OUT...

    THEY ALSO TOOK INTO CUSTODY ANOTHER MAN WHO WAS WAITING OUTSIDE...
    23-YEAR OLD GREG ONEAL JOHNSON AND 29-YEAR OLD JEROME CLIETT.... FACE CHARGES FOR CRIMINAL ATTEMPT TO COMMIT BURGLARY.
