IN A LITTLE LESS THAN TWO WEEKS... VOTERS IN ALL THREE HOUSTON COUNTY CITIES WILL DECIDE WHETHER TO ALLOW SUNDAY ALCOHOL SALES.
IN ALL THREE CITIES... CENTERVILLE... PERRY AND WARNER ROBINS... VOTERS WILL BE ASKED IF PACKAGE SALES OF BEER... WINE AND LIQUOR SHOULD BE SOLD ON SUNDAYS BETWEEN 12-30 P-M AND 11-30 P-M.
PERRY AND WARNER ROBINS VOTERS WILL ALSO DECIDE WHETHER ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES SHOULD BE SOLD BY THE DRINK ON SUNDAYS.
RESTAURANTS IN CENTERVILLE CAN ALREADY DO THAT.
KIM SHERIDAN OWNS THE SWANSON RESTAURANT IN PERRY.
SHE SAYS SUNDAY SALES WOULD BE GOOD FOR THE ENTIRE COMMUNITY.
KAPILA PATEL... WHOSE FAMILY OWNS A LIQUOR STORE... DISAGREES.
SHE SAYS THEY REST AND WORSHIP ON SUNDAY.
Kapila Patel: (52:40) "I don't like because we work six days a week, all day long. We need one day rest, also we always spend Sunday at the temple."
Kim Sheridan: (29:40) "I want to see every business succeed in Perry. I have always been an advocate for shopping local, and I just think that's another way to do it."
COUNTY COMMISSIONER TOMMY STALNAKER SAID HE THINKS SUNDAY SALES WOULD HELP BUSINESSES AND BRING IN SALES TAX REVENUE.
THE QUESTIONS ARE ON THE NOVEMBER 8TH CITY BALLOTS.

OCCUPY ATLANTA PROTESTORS ARE OUT OF JAIL ON SIGNATURE BONDS.. . AFTER A JUDGE RELEASED THEM.
THEY HAD BEEN CAMPING OUT AT WOODRUFF PARK FOR NEARLY TWO WEEKS... AS PART OF THE DEMONSTRATIONS.
THIS MORNING... ATLANTA MAYOR KASIM REED SAID IN A STATEMENT THAT THE ARRESTS CAME AFTER "INCREASINGLY AGGRESSIVE ACTIONS" BY THE PROTESTORS.
CHRISTOPHER KING HAS MORE.
ONE BY ONE..OCCUPY ATLANTA PROTESTORS..LEFT THE ATLANTA DETENION CENTER.
THEY WERE ARRESTED EARLY THIS MORNING..AFTER POLICE..SOME IN RIOT GEAR..MOVED IN..TO EVICT THEM FROM WOODRUFF PARK.

POLICE THREW MISTY NOVITCH IN JAIL..AFTER SHE REFUSED TO LEAVE.
SHE SAYS THE PROTESTORS HAVE A RIGHT TO BE THERE.
WE ASKED HER THE TOUGH QUESTIONS.

POLICE ARRESTED 52 PROTESTORS.
AN ATLANTA MUNICIPAL COURT JUDGE AGREED TO LET THEM ALL OUT ON SIGNATURE BONDS..MEANING THEY DIDN'T HAVE TO PAY ANYTHING.
DEMONSTRATORS CAMPED OUT FOR NEARLY THREE WEEKS.
THEY PROTESTED CORPORATE GREED..HOME FORECLOSURES AND HIGH UNEMPLOYMENT.
THE MAYOR STEADILY LOST PATIENCE..AS BOTH SIDES DREW BATTLE LINES.

MAYOR REED SAYS THE PROTESTORS VIOLATED A CITY LAW..WHICH CLOSES THE PARK AFTER 11 AT NIGHT.
HE REVOKED AN EXCUTIVE ORDER..ALLOWING THEM TO STAY..AFTER WHAT HE CALLED AN ILLEGAL CONCERT AT THE PARK THE WEEKEND.
MAWULI DAVIS..ONE OF THE MANY ATTORNEYS REPRESENTING THE PROTESTORS..SAYS THEY HAD EVERY RIGHT BE THERE.

<:20:38/MAWULI> "that first amendment right is protected at 11:01-11:02-even in the city of Atlanta-even in the park."
REED SAID HE DOES NOT REGRET BREAKING UP THE PROTEST.
WOODRUFF PARK REMAINS CLOSED... AND IT'S NOT CLEAR WHEN IT MIGHT REOPEN.
POLICE WARNED PROTESTORS TO VACATE THE PARK SEVERAL TIMES BEFORE POLICE MOVED IN... AND MOST OF THEM WERE GONE BY ABOUT 1-30 THIS MORNING.

PRESIDENT OBAMA UNVEILED A PLAN TODAY THAT HE SAYS COULD GIVE MILLIONS OF YOUNG PEOPLE SOME RELIEF ON STUDENT LOAN PAYMENTS.
IT WOULD ALLOW COLLEGE GRADUATES TO LIMIT THEIR LOAN PAYMENTS TO TEN PERCENT OF THEIR INCOME... AFTER MONTHLY BILLS.
LAST YEAR... COLLEGE STUDENTS TOOK OUT LOANS TOTALLY 100 BILLION DOLLARS... THE FIRST TIME IT'S EVER REACHED THAT AMOUNT.
THIS YEAR... THE OUTSTANDING DEBT FOR STUDENT LOANS WILL TOP ONE TRILLION DOLLARS FOR THE FIRST TIME.
THAT NUMBER FAR EXCEEDS THE AMOUNT OF CREDIT CARD DEBT FOR AMERICANS... WHICH NOW STANDS AT 793 BILLION DOLLARS.
DURING A SPEECH IN DENVER... THE PRESIDENT SAID HE WANTS THE CHANGES TO HAPPEN AS EARLY AS NEXT YEAR.
THE PLAN ALSO CALLS FOR LOAN COMPAINES TO FORGIVE ANY REMAINING DEBT AFTER 20 YEARS.

A MACON MAN WAS SENTENCED TO NEARLY FOUR YEARS IN FEDERAL PRISON TODAY FOR SELLING JET PARTS TO IRAN.
MICHAEL TODD WAS ALSO FINED TEN-THOUSAND DOLLARS... ORDERED TO PAY 160-THOUSAND DOLLARS IN RESTITUTION... AND SENTENCED TO THREE YEARS OF PROBATION.
THAT'S ACCORDING TO U-S ATTORNEY MICHAEL MOORE.
IN JUNE... FEDERAL OFFICIALS SAID TODD WAS PART OF AN INTERNATIONAL RING THAT SUPPLIED PARTS FOR FIGHTER JETS AND ATTACK HELICOPTERS.
THAT'S A VIOLATION OF THE U.S. TRADE EMBARGO AGAINST IRAN.
TODD ALLEGEDLY BOUGHT AND SOLD PARTS THROUGH HIS BUSINESS.. THE PARTS GUY... FORMERLY BASED AT MIDDLE GEORGIA REGIONAL AIRPORT.
MOORE SAID TODD PLEADED GUILTY IN MAY.

A BLECKELY COUNTY MAN FACES MURDER CHARGES AFTER AN EARLY MORNING SHOOTING IN COCHRAN.

"We supply them with parts and equipment for C5s, C15s, F15s and C130s. We also have parts for warfare systems."
ONE OF THE CENTER'S DUTIES....ASSEMBLY SUPPLY PALLETS THAT ARE DROPPED BY PARACHUTE....TO HELP TROOPS FIGHTING IN REMOTE AREAS.

STATE LEADERS WANT A PANEL OF FEDERAL JUDGES TO DECLARE PART OF THE VOTING RIGHTS ACT UNCONSTITUTIONAL.

GEORGIA HAS ALSO SUBMITTED THE MAPS TO THE U-S DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE.
THE STATE SAYS IT WILL DROP THE FEDERAL LAWSUIT IF THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION APPROVES THE MAPS.

MILLEDGEVILLE- BALDWIN COUNTY DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR... ANGIE GHEESLING SAYS IT ALL STARTED YEARS AGO WHEN THEY MADE AN INVESTMENT ... TO DEVELOP NORTH BALDWIN COUNTY.
Angie Gheesling, Development Director: "Probably eight years ago when the county started laying the groundwork for development installing sewage lines with really no gaurantee that there was enough to tap on at that point in time to really warrent what the lines were going to cost to see that this would one day happen."

ORGANIZERS SAY IT WILL SOON BRING FRESH.. LOCALLY GROWN... FRUITS AND VEGETABLES TO PEOPLE IN MACON THAT HAVE A TOUGH TIME GETTING THEM TO THE DINNER PLATE.
SOON IT WILL BEGIN ROLLING THROUGH MANY MACON HOUSING AUTHORITY LOCATIONS... BRINGING MORE GREEN TO AREAS KNOWN AS 'FOOD DESERTS.'
