<<(826) "This is the piece of paper they signed prior to me buying the home."
CLAY ARD'S PROBLEM ISN'T WITH BECOMING A RESIDENT OF THE CITY OF WARNER ROBINS.
IT'S THAT HE NEVER KNEW ANNEXATION WAS A POSSIBILITY.. WHEN HE BOUGHT HIS HOUSTON HOME 20 YEARS AGO.
I don't know what else they call it, but I thought it was called disclosure.
ARD SAYS NO ONE... NOT THE CITY... REALTOR OR DEVELOPER... TOLD HIM THERE WAS AN AGREEMENT IN PLACE... THAT COULD ALLOW ANNEXATION AT ANY TIME.
That's all I want 'em to do is do it right and do it legal.

THE DEBATE OVER THE COUNTRY'S DEBT LIMIT IS RAGING IN D-C... AND EIGHTH DISTRICT CONGRESSMAN AUSTIN SCOTT STOPPED IN CENTRAL GEORGIA TODAY TO GIVE HIS THOUGHTS ON THE ISSUE AT A ROTARY CLUB LUNCHEON.
SCOTT SAID HE'D SUPPORT SOME PROPOSALS TO CUT THE NATION'S BUDGET DEFICIT.
HE SAID HIS FAVORITE IS THE CUT-CAP AND BALANCE... WHICH CALLS FOR CONGRESS TO CUT MORE FROM THE BUDGET IN THE NEXT DECADE THAN THE DEBT CEILING INCREASE THEY AGREE ON.
THE PROPOSAL ALSO REQUIRES CONGRESS TO BALANCE ITS BUDGET... AND ASKS THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT NOT TO SPEND MORE THAN ABOUT 20 PERCENT OF THE GROSS DOMESTIC PRODUCT.
SCOTT SAYS HE WOULD VOTE AGAINST INCREASING THE DEBT LIMIT WITHOUT THE SPENDING CUTS... SPENDING CAPS... OR TAX CUTS.
"I don't think that tax increases, increases in the tax rates that have been proposed are good for America, I don't think they're good for the 8th congressional district, and I will not support increases in tax rates."
