WHILE DISCUSSING ISSUES.. THEY LAUNCHED PERSONAL ATTACKS AGAINST EACH OTHER AND EVEN WENT TOE-TO-TOE AFTER THE SHOW ENDED.
DURING THE SHOW.. HORNE DENIED ALLEGATIONS THAT REPUBLICANS TALKED HIM INTO RUNNING.
Chris Horne: The only person that put me in this race is Elaine Lucas. It is years of failed leadership. Look at East Macon, just look at when you go home look at what's around you on your way to work look at what's around you. Are you happy with 24 years of leadership like that?
Elaine Lucas: I'm so tired of him downing the area. If he doesn't like the area he needed to have made some improvements.
Chris Horne: I love the area.
Elaine Lucas: or joined me in making improvements or he needed to move out and go where his Republican friends are. Maybe they could take care of him like they're doing with providing him funds to run his friend Andrew Blascovich as Mayor Reichert's campaign coordinator or whatever who worked to talk him into running.
AND THE POLITICAL ATMOSPHERE INTENSIFIED EVEN MORE AFTER THE TAPING WAS OVER.
Elaine Lucas: Chris, stop being so ugly to me and I won't have to get you back. Just leave me alone.
Chris Horne: Are you threatening me? Are you threatening me?
Elaine Lucas: Verbablly. Verbablly. Verbablly.
Chris Horne: Are ;you threatening me?
Elaine Lucas: Verbablly get you back.Verbablly.
Chris Horne: You better watch it. Don't make threats at me.
Elaine Lucas: Chris please.
Chris Horne: I've got a family to protect. I don't take that stuff lightly.
Elaine Lucas: Aren't you late for your baby sitting?
Chris Horne: I don't know how you sleep at night.
Elaine Lucas: Try it. You try it. Try it Chris.
Chris Horne: I really don't know how you sleep at night.
