KEITH BYERS WITH THE GEORGIA DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES SAYS THE 18-YEAR-OLD WAS LAST SEEN FISHING WITH A FRIEND... ON THE OCONEE RIVER AROUND 4-30 YESTERDAY MORNING.
LAST NIGHT... D-N-R BROUGHT IN A LARGE SONAR FROM GREENE COUNTY.... WHICH SCANS DEEPER AND LARGER AREAS THAN THE SMALLER SONAR THEY FIRST USED.
THIS MORNING... CREWS ALSO BROUGHT IN SEARCH DOGS.
BYERS SAYS DIVE CREWS FOUND A SHOE BELONGINGTO THE TEEN... SHORTLY AFTER THE SEARCH BEGAN.

FIRE DEPARTMENT VOLUNTEERS SAY THEY DON'T BELIEVE FOUL PLAY OR ALCOHOL IS INVOLVED.
THE TEENS' FRIENDS SAY THE 18-YEAR-OLD IS A SENIOR AT WEST LAURENS HIGH SCHOOL.
SEARCH CREWS ARE EXPECTED TO BE BACK AT THE SCENE IN THE MORNING.

OTHERS CELEBRATED EASTER... AND TOOK IN SOME AFRICAN CULTURE AT THE FINAL DAY OF THE PAN-AFRICAN FESTIVAL.

STANDUP "JUST LAST WEEKEND, STRONG STORMS SWEPT THROUGH CENTRAL GEORGIA FOR THE SECOND TIME THIS MONTH, DOWNING TREES, DAMAGING HOMES, AND CUTTING POWER ACROSS THE AREA."
THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE CONFIRMED THREE TORNADOES STRUCK CENTRAL GEORGIA THIS MONTH.
HORNE AND HIS WIFE CHERI RODE OUT THE WINDS AND LIGHTNING THAT REACHED THEIR EATONTON NEIGHBORHOOD... WITH SECURITY.

"I CALLED A SEPTIC TANK COMPANY OVER IN SANDERSVILLE AND THEY BROUGHT OUT THIS 15-HUNDRED GALLON SEPTIC TANK AND SET IT IN THE HOLE FOR ME."

THAT MORNING... AN EF-ONE TORNADO ALSO TORE THROUGH NEIGHBORHOODS IN SOUTH BIBB COUNTY.
LAST SATURDAY... AN EF-ONE CAUSED SEVERAL MILES OF DAMAGE IN NORTH MACON.
