LAURENS COUNTY DEPUTIES CONTINUES TO SEARCH FOR A MISSING TEEN TONIGHT.

THE 18-YEAR-OLD WAS LAST SEEN FISHING WITH A FRIEND ON THE OCONEE RIVER AROUND 4-30 THIS MORNING.
THAT'S ACCORDING TO KEITH BYERS WITH THE GEORGIA DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES.
BYERS SAYS AROUND 6 O-CLOCK TONIGHT... D-N-R WORKERS BROUGHT IN A LARGE SONAR FROM GREENE COUNTY... WHICH HE SAYS CAN SCAN LARGER AREAS IN THE WATER.
HE SAYS DIVE CREWS FOUND A SHOE BELONGINGTO THE TEEN SHORTLY AFTER THE SEARCH BEGAN... BUT SINCE THEN... NOTHING ELSE HAS BEEN FOUND---

KEITH BYERS, GEORGIA DNR: "WE COULD BE HERE ONE HOUR FROM NOW, 30 MINUTES FROM NOW, OR WE COULD BE HERE DAYS FROM NOW. IT'S JUST HARD TO SAY AT THIS POINT."

NAACP PRESIDENT DAVID BOOKER HELD THE MEETING TO SPARK TALKS ON COMMUNITY ISSUES.
BOOKER SPOKE TO THE GROUP ABOUT HOW TO BOOST ECONOMIC GROWTH WITHIN NEIGHBORHOODS... AND IMPROVE EDUCATION.
HE HOPES MORE TALKS ON THESE TOPICS... WILL ENCOURAGE OTHERS TO SPEAK UP.

AFTER THEY SCOOPED UP THEIR EGGS... THEY GOT TOGETHER TO COUNT IT ALL UP.
THEY HOPED TO CATCH A CASH PRIZE RANGING FROM TEN TO ONE-HUNDRED DOLLARS... FOR COLLECTING THE MOST EGGS.
GET THIS--- MORE THAN TEN-THOUSAND EGGS WERE HIDDEN AROUND THE PARK.
PARENTS CHEERED ON KIDS... AS OTHER PRIZES WERE HANDED OUT INCLUDING BIKES... AND KITES.
