THE FOOTAGE SHOWS MASKED MEN DRIVING UP TO KEN'S AUDIO STEREO STORE... THEN LOADING WHAT POLICE SAY IS A SILVER OR GRAY BUICK CENTURY... FULL OF ELECTRONICS.
"they were only in here about 2 and a half minutes and to get away with a tremendous amount of value... it's amazing how much they took."
Standup: "jones says the theives crawled through hthese bars in the door and only picked items they knew would fit, like 32-inch toshiba and Sony flat screen TVs."
"It's truly amazing that men and TV's got through those small gaps. They obviously cased us out before."
KEN'S IS OFFERING A 5-HUNDRED DOLLAR CASH REWARD FOR ANY TIPS THAT WILL HELP CATCH AND CONVICT THE BURGLARS.
JONES SAYS THAT SEEMS LIKE THE ONLY WAY THE BUSINESS CAN RECOUP ITS LOSS. HE SAYS THE THIEVES TOOK ABOUT 4 THOUSAND DOLLARS WORTH OF EQUIPMENT...AND THAT'S LESS THAN THEIR INSURANCE WILL COVER.
"Businesses get the bad end of the deal.... if you have a loss that's 5,000 or less, that money's gone. You just have to pay it out of your pocket, so I just think we oughtta be very proactive and that's why we say we'll just offer 500 bucks up front if you can help us find it."
