THE FUTURE OF THE GEORGIA MUSIC HALL OF FAME REMAINS UNCLEAR... BUT THAT DIDN'T KEEP VISITORS FROM STOPPING IN TODAY.
THEY DROPPED IN TO SEE INSTRUMENTS AND OTHER ITEMS FROM THEIR FAVORITE MUSICIANS.

WOODSTOCK WAS ONE OF THE OTHER CITIES VYING FOR THE HALL.
DON WILLIAMS AND HIS WIFE LIVE THERE...
THEY SAY THE PROCESS OF FINDING A PERMANENT HOME FOR THE MUSEUM BROUGHT THEM TO MACON FOR A VISIT.
Don Williams/Woodstock: "We were trying to make a decision where we were going to travel this weekend and we discussed going out of state and various places, but with all the publicity and everything that's going on down here, we wanted to come see what this place was all about."
THE BOARD DECIDED THURSDAY THAT THE MUSEUM WILL STAY IN MACON FOR A YEAR... IF THEY FIND FUNDING FOR IT.
THEY ALSO ACCEPTED A CONTINGENCY PLAN FROM EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR LISA LOVE.
IT GIVES THREE RECOMMENDATIONS....
ADDRESS THE HALL'S ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE.... TRANSFER THE COLLECTION TO LIBRARIES AT THE UNIVERSITY OF GEORGIA, GEORGIA STATE....... AND THE UNIVERSITY OF WEST GEORGIA... AND MOVE FINANCIAL AND ADMINISTRATIVE RECORDS TO PERMANENT ARCHIVES OR STATE RECORDS.

WEBB... ALONG WITH OTHERS AT THE CONSUMER CREDIT COUNSELING SERVICE... ARE GEARED UP FOR THEIR FIRST COMMUNITY-WIDE FINANCIAL WELLNESS FAIR.   WEBB SAYS ITS KEY... PEOPLE LEARN NECESSARY MONEY MANAGEMENT SKILLS... INSTEAD OF FORKING OVER LOOT... TO BUSINESSES THAT PROMISE CREDIT REPAIR.

Webb,
"There is nothing that someone can do legally that you can't do for yourself so a lot of people are paying hundreds of dollars."

THE FINANCIAL WELLNESS FAIR WILL OFFER FREE CREDIT REPORT WORKSHOPS...  ALONG WITH FORECLOSURE PREVENTION... AND FIRST TIME HOMEBUYER PROGRAMS.

THE COMMUNITY EDUCATOR SAYS YOUR CREDIT CAN DETERMINE INTEREST RATES...AND LOAN APPROVAL FOR CARS... AND MORTGAGES.

STANDUP Bofta Yimam
"Webb says 60-percent of employers look into your credit history as part of the hiring process.  She says the workshop will explain how you can add a consumer statement to your credit report explaining the reasons behind the delinquencies and negative information."

SHE SAYS SOME WITHOUT JOBS... MAY FEEL THEY'RE NOT READY TO TALK ABOUT FINANCIAL PROBLEMS.  BUT WEBb STRESSES TAKING PROACTIVE STEPS.

Webb,
"Regardless of how much money you have coming in, if you have any money coming in, it needs to be managed.

WEBB ADVISES THOSE WITHOUT CREDIT ISSUES... TO STILL CHECK THEIR REPORT... BEFORE SOMEONE ELSE... BEATS THEM TO IT.

Webb,
" you can find out if somebody has stolen your identity."

THE ROAD TO THE FINAL FOUR TAKES A HARROWING TWIST... FLOODING WASHES AWAY PARTS OF THAILAND... AND THIEVES PICK THE WRONG STORE TO ROB.
HERE'RE A FEW STORIES YOU HAVE TO SEE TO BELIEVE... IN THIS EDITION OF TAKE A LOOK AT THIS!
TAKE A LOOK AT THIS!
JUST MOMENTS BEFORE THIS CAR BURST INTO FLAMES ON A TEXAS HIGHWAY, A NEWS PHOTOGRAPHER RESCUED A WOMAN FROM INSIDE.
THE PHOTOGRAPHER WAS ON HIS WAY FROM LEXINGTON, KENTUCKY TO HOUSTON TO COVER THE FINAL FOUR BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT WHEN THE CAR IN FRONT OF HIM SLAMMED INTO THE CEMENT BARRIER.
The people inside were kicking the doors, they couldn't get them open, they were screaming for help.
THE MAN PULLED THE FEMALE PASSENGER OUT THROUGH THE WINDOW.
ANOTHER PASSERBY HELPED A SECOND PERSON ESCAPE.
BOTH PEOPLE WERE TAKEN TO THE HOSPITAL AND ARE EXPECTED TO BE OKAY.
THE FLOODING IN THAILAND HAS GONE FROM BAD TO WORSE.
FLOODWATERS HAVE HIT OVER FOUR THOUSAND VILLAGES, CLAIMING MORE THAN 20 LIVES.
ROADS AND BRIDGES ARE WASHED OUT, PREVENTING RELIEF WORKERS FROM GETTING TO THE HARDEST HIT AREAS.
RAIN IS STILL FALLING, AND THE WATER IS STILL RISING.
TAKE A LOOK AT THESE BRAZEN THIEVES.
THE PAIR ENTERED A CANADIAN STORE AND WHILE THE WOMAN DISTRACTED THE CLERK, THE MAN STOLE A CHARITY BOX WITH THREE THOUSAND DOLLARS INSIDE FOR A LOCAL CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL.
BUT THIS WASN'T ANY OLD STORE...IT SOLD SURVEILLANCE EQUIPMENT SO YOU CAN BET THE WHOLE ACT WAS CAUGHT ON CAMERA.
WHILE POLICE SEARCH FOR THE SUSPECTS, THE STORE IS RE-STARTING ITS FUNDRAISER FROM SCRATCH.
FOR MORE ODD STORIES... JUST HEAD OVER TO OUR WEBSITE AT 13WMAZ DOT COM AND TAKE A DRINK FROM THE WATERCOOLER SECTION.
YOU'LL FIND IT ON THE HOMEPAGE.
