PEOPLE IN TWIGGS COUNTY SAY THEY'RE SHOCKED BY TWO BEATINGS... INCLUDING ONE FATAL... THAT TOOK PLACE AT A MOTEL.
32-YEAR OLD JOHN TAYLOR... FROM BOSTON... FACES MURDER... KIDNAPPING... AMONG OTHER CHARGES.
BRITTINY BARBER SHOWS US HOW SOME COMMUNITY MEMBERS ARE REACTING TO THE VIOLENCE... AND GIVES US THE LATEST ON THE INVESTIGATION.

AND BEAT UP 76-YEAR OLD MOTEL WORKER ... ROBERT EUGENE SAUL ON SATURDAY.
POOLE SAYS SAUL VISITED HER STORE JUST ABOUT EVERY DAY.
LAURA POOLE. "I DEVASTATED ME. I CRIED I MEAN BECAUSE HE'S JUST HE WOULD BE LIKE A GRANDFATHER TYPE. HE'S JUST REALLY SWEET."
DEPUTIES SAY THEY FIRST RESPONDED TO THE MOTEL ABOUT A FIGHT JUST BEFORE 11 -AM SATURDAY. DEPUTIES SAY THEY FOUND SAUL SEVERELY BEATEN.
THE MOTEL'S SURVEILLANCE VIDEO... SHOWED TAYLOR DRIVING MUGRAVES CAR IN THE PARKING LOT. THEN....DEPUTIES FOUND MUSGRAVE DEAD IN HIS ROOM.
BRITTINY BARBER, EYEWITNESS NEWS: "TWIGGS COUNTY CHIEF DEPUTY BILLY BONEY SAYS TAYLOR AND HIS VICTIM WERE STAYING IN NEARBY ROOMS AT THIS HOTEL HE SAYS OTHER THAN THAT THERE SEEMS TO BE NO CONNECTION OR REASON FOR THE CRIME."
SAUL'S NEIGHBORS SAY HIS WIFE UPDATED THEM ON HIS CONDITION ON SATURDAY NIGHT.
CORDELIA ROUSE, JEFFERSONVILLE: "SHE SAID THAT HE WASN'T DOING TOO GOOD. SAID THAT HE DID OPEN HIS EYES AND LOOK UP AT HER AND SQUEEZE HIS GRANDDAUGHTERS FINGER."
JOHN ROUSE, JEFFERNSONVILLE: "HE'S ONE OF THE NICEST FELLOWS HERE WAS HERE IN TWIGGS COUNTY. ANY WAY HE COULD HELP YOU HE WOULD.
POOLE SAYS TAYLOR ALSO CAME INTO HER STORE ON SATURDAY MORNING.
LAURA POOLE, " TELLING US HE WAS AT THE HOTEL ACROSS THE ROAD AND WANTING TO KNOW IF WE COULD DELIVER TO HIM AT THE HOTEL AND THEN HE KEPT BABBLING ON ABOUT HE DIDN'T TO TALK TO THE SHERIFF ABOUT SOMETHING HE DID."
BONEY SAYS TAYLOR IS REFUSING TO CORPORATE WITH INVESTIGATORS....HE'S BEEN MOVED TO THE WILKINSON COUNTY JAIL TO BE HELD IN ISOLATION.

BONEY SAYS JEFFERSONVILLE POLICE CHARGED TAYLOR FOR DISORDERLY CONDUCT ON THURSDAY.... AND SAY HE WAS RELEASED ON FRIDAY.
DEPUTIES WERE ALSO CALLED TO THE MOTEL ON FRIDAY... AFTER TAYLOR WALKED OUT ON HIS BILL... AT A NEARBY RESTAURANT.


AN 88-YEAR-OLD MACON MAN DIED... AFTER HIS CAR COLLIDED WITH A GREYHOUND BUS... IN CITRUS COUNTY FLORIDA THIS MORNING.
THAT'S ACCORDING TO THE FLORIDA HIGHWAY PATROL.
A NEWS RELEASE SAYS EDDIE KIRKLAND WAS DRIVING HIS FORD TARUS ALONG HIGHWAY 98... WHEN HE TRIED TO MAKE A U-TURN AT AN INTERSECTION AND COLLIDED WITH A GREYHOUND BUS.
THE BUS PUSHED KIRKLAND'S TARUS ABOUT 200 FEET.
KIRLAND LATER DIED AT THE HOSPTAL.
NO ONE ON THE BUS WAS INJURED.... THE ACCIDENT IS STILL UNDER INVESTIGATION.
