Macon's Capitol Theatre, seen here being prepped for the filming of "42" in April, has new management

42 crews spruced the exteriors of a few downtown businesses Wednesday to look like a street in 1940's Brooklyn.

They painted Cox Capital Theater red and changed Greek's Corner Deli into a place called Small's.

Some locals came out to watch production crews worked.

"I came here to take a look. I think we're not gonna see this again. I don't know when next time they're going to come again, so that's why I take the opportunity to take some pictures," said Tom Sarrthud of Warner Robins.

"It's like a facelift, they put different colors on it, it's just beautiful it just makes you feel like you are in Hollywood," said Regina Baker of Lizella.

Others came out in hopes of seeing a Hollywood star on Second Street.

"Well honestly I just wanted to see if Harrison Ford was on the streets yet we're dying to see him," said Amy West.

A few said they hope the changes are here to stay.

"I think it's beautiful really it is in all honesty maybe some of the stores will keep them especially the pizza place, I think that's beautiful, how they did that with the red and white and everything and it kinda goes with there decor," said Baker.
